Renzo Scavia
Renzo Scavia is the Managing Partner of Scavia & Scavia. He has an extensive practice and renowned career focused on assisting companies to comply with the regulations imposed by the General Direction of Medicines and Drugs of the Ministry of Health (MoH) and the intersection of intellectual property and such laws. Since 2004, his expertise comprises all branches of sanitary permits for pharmaceutical products, biologicals, biosimilars and medical device industries, natural health products, cosmetics and food.
In the pharmaceutical industry, he has provided strategic advice in all stages, from drug developments to manufacturing and clinical trial in order to obtain marketing authorisation approvals (MAA) and other kinds of health permits, with involvement in advertising, labelling and the monitoring of safety legal provisions.
Renzo works with clients providing strategic advice on approval and marketing strategies and intellectual property issues, and managing global product portfolios.
Renzo has drafted and filed submissions to the MoH and the National Institute for the Defense of the Competition and the Protection of Intellectual Property (INDECOPI).
